Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using EterSoul, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use EterSoul. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use EterSoul to:
- Generate, store, or share illegal content
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the service or extract other users' data
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Create souls that impersonate real people without consent
5. AI-Generated Content
EterSoul uses AI to generate responses on behalf of soul owners (proxy chat). AI responses may be inaccurate, offensive, or misleading. Soul owners are responsible for reviewing their soul's public behaviour. Visitors understand they are interacting with an AI, not the real person.
6. Subscriptions and Credits
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play. Credit top-ups are non-refundable except as required by law. Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period; top-up credits do not expire. Refunds for subscriptions are processed according to the platform's refund policy (Apple / Google).
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you create (messages, personality data). You grant EterSoul a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service. EterSoul owns the platform, software, and branding.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data is removed after a 7-day cooling-off period.
9. Disclaimers
EterSoul is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that AI responses will be accurate or appropriate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EterSoul's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance.
